This P-90 set is made using alnico 2/5 magnets and wound more to drive your amp harder not your vintage 50's or 60's tone these are BIG and BOLD and will ROCK your AMP without losing tone in the highs and lows. You get the warmth of the Alnico 2 magnet and the highs and full tone of the Alnico5's.
42 GA wire Fiber Flat work and a Maple frame, scatter wound wax potted.

5 of 5 Some Clean full sounding P90s January 27, 2014

I just installed my set of PhillthyCats in my LesPaul. They are very clean and full sounding with just the right bit of grit to them. They clean up very nicely when backing off the volume. Can get some very creamy tones out of the neck pickup. As with all of Davids pickups Im not sure which of the three toggle positions are my fav they all sound so rich,full and lively and they also are quiet compared to most p90s. Tthey are very balance and have volume to spare. Cheers on these David....now on to my next purchase of your pickups :)
