We took a lot of time developing this set and went through a lot of prototypes to get our version of a Fat 59 Tele set. We worked with several artist to design it string by string looking for a warm 59 tone.
We use a mix of magnets and wind the Neck to 7.2k with 43 GA and bridge to 7.6k which creates a nice balance between the two.
This set has bright clear highs that sizzle and pop without ice pick and warm but tight lows. Made to be able to twang in Country or go to Rock or Blues Rock as well many styles. These pickups are flexible, warm single-coil Telecaster sounds. They are clear and still cut, but have a slightly rounder and darker tone. Punchy, thick sounds, but with clarity and chime. This is a very versatile set, but also very well suited for those with jazz, pop, or rhythm and blues tendencies.
