Bart Walker (Bart Walker Band, Double Trouble)
"I've never played a set of humbuckers where I love both pickups. I usually like either the neck or bridge but never the set. They don't have a brittle top end or mushy low end and they have a beautiful presence that stands out in the mix." - Bart Walker about the Alley Cat humbucker set

I contacted David Allen via email, asking him to suggest a humbucker for my 6 year old PRS SE.  It is a pretty well made Korean guitar, and I previously installed some USA made PRS Singlecut pickups in it early on.  It sounded pretty good.  After I had the AllyCats installed it completely changed the sound.  These pickups are SO musical, with great overtones and well balanced string to string definition.  The tone is sweet in all three positions (Neck--Neck and Bridge--Bridge) and it drives well when pushed.  This guitar now actually sounds better than the USA made PRS guitars I've played and owned.  Thanks David for the great suggestion!
