This is an exceptional low out put strat set. The neck and middle are lower output then our  TruVintage54's and the bridge is pushed up enough to create a nice balance and has a mix of magnets that create a warm tone.
Think JM's Gravity
A mix of alnico magnets, slightly hand beveled to keep an articulate focused tone. This set is clean, tight, and crisp and the bridge is warm, full and rounded.

Excelente juego de pastillas, de lo mejor de David Allen.

Muy bajo ruido de fondo, excelente definición y claridad. Bien ecualizada; los agudos son presentes pero no molestos o hirientes, sido sedosos. Los bajos son claros y definidos y, los medios bien representados.

Los sonidos son deliciosos, angelicales y, la mezcla de imanes ayuda a resaltar lo bueno y a contener lo malo del típico sonido de una strato.

Es el clásico sonido de la strato pero, simplemente, embellecido.

The StratCats are very sweet-sounding low-output pickups, and are unbelievably quiet in my guitar.

Love the neck-- it's woody and perky, and can bite, but not in a harsh way. The 2 and 4 positions are off the charts...Just the right amount of glass, with a real sweet top end. The bridge is very nice too.  David says they're articulate and balanced-- I totally agree.

While these pickups sound great clean, I'm really happy about the way they handle overdrive (using a Keeley Ts-9 and a Lovepedal Eternity) and distortion (MI Audio Crunchbox). I haven't been this happy about playing a strat in years!

I should also mention that David was incredibly helpful in guiding me towards the right pickups and took the time to thoughtfully explain everything to me and answer all of my questions. Top-notch customer service!
