I have had these in my American Dlx Strat with maple neck for a few months now and I am so impressed with the variance of tones and sounds I can actually get now. Turning the volume down or adjusting the tone knobs actually make a difference in sound. I can get as clean as I'd ever want with these and actually can get quite dirty too but, they have yet to mud up and the string definition is just incredible. The 2nd and 4th position has incredible quack. I find these to be conservative in the output rating because they have great output I do use my volume now for different sounds. Yet once again they have yet no matter what I'm running this strat through have yet to disappoint. I play Christian/Gospel and blues and I can get all that and more. Versatility is abundant for vintage and yet modern without loosing the strat's personality. excellent for vintage guys and modern players as well.Cant wait to get into the studio.Excellent Job David.

If you have been searching for that classic "straty" sound, search no more. The cleans are sweet and have a strong bottom end so they deliver that quack that you crave. These pups give the typical cliches such as; "bell-like","piano-like" and glassy a new meaning. What I like best about them is when you push them with gain, even heavy OD, they retain their dignity and stay tight, no mushiness. This makes them very versatile, if I could only have one guitar, these would be the pups. To sum it all up; these are the best pups I have ever played.
